Always On The Move

How does the director of a major removals and storage company relax? The short answer: By cycling 55 miles on a vintage bike!

Earlier this year in June, Geoff Hartwell, one of the two brother-directors at Advanced Removals, alongside a company mechanic, David Charlesworth, entered the vintage cycling race, L’Eroica 2014, set in the Peak District.

The bike race, which originates from Italy, is unlike any other as the competitors have to ride a bike that pre-dates 1987 and wear authentic vintage cycling apparel. They rode a gruelling 55 miles, taking in some of the most spectacular landscapes in the UK along the way.

Geoff made a short video of the experience – starting with the reconstruction of his bike.
